Yasushi was born in Japan and graduated from Waseda University with BA, majored in pedagogy (Bachelor of Education).

Yasushi received a certificate of teaching Japanese language from the Japan Society (Toyota Language Center), whose training system is renowned to be the best in the United States. He came to New York from Tokyo two and a half years ago. Prior to coming to New York, Yasushi worked as an editor in chief at Japanese economic magazine for 4 years. Now He has just started the first essay series in Japanese pop magazine that is for young ages.
